IPF Worldwide community support
Practical help. Real support. Since 2015.

Our Purpose

Practical help for people facing poverty or financial hardship.

Our Values

Dignity, trust and inclusion.

Our Reach

Rooted in Ilford. Working across England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland — and with people displaced by the war in Ukraine.

Practical help when language or money is the barrier

IPFWORLDWIDE relieves poverty and financial hardship, with grants towards energy costs, household expenses and essential transport.

We also promote social inclusion among migrants and refugees who are shut out by language barriers or by financial hardship, through translation services, grants for food, and advice and support about accessing essential services, including healthcare.

How We Can Help

Translation services
Translation

Language should not stand between you and a doctor or a solicitor. We translate documents and interpret at appointments so you can be understood.

Help at appointments
Help at appointments

If you cannot explain yourself at an appointment, the wrong decision can be made about your health, your benefits or your home. We interpret at appointments with doctors, hospitals, the council and other services, translate letters, and help with the forms and the fare.

We help you understand letters, complete forms, and gather the documents services ask for. Where you need legal or immigration advice, we help you find a regulated adviser.

How to get help
Our Work
01
Emergency accommodation support

Emergency Accommodation

We help people fleeing domestic violence reach local authority homelessness teams and refuge services, and we can meet essential costs while longer-term support is arranged.

02
Legal support for refugees and people seeking asylum

Legal Support

We help refugees and people seeking asylum find regulated immigration advisers and solicitors, and where we can, we help meet the cost of representation.

IPF Worldwide history and community work

Our Story

2015 - We started in Ilford, helping neighbours with letters, forms & fares.
2020 - We ran a Covid response across the borough.
2025 - We registered as a charity in England and Wales.
Today - The same work, reaching further.

IPF Worldwide Covid response and community support

Our Covid Response

Working with Redbridge Council, we reached people in poverty across the borough: families, and people sleeping rough. Many had no recourse to public funds. We delivered supermarket vouchers, food parcels, help with essential costs, and sleeping bags and blankets.

Ukraine

Our work reaches people displaced by the war in Ukraine. We provide clothing, non-perishable food, blankets and bedding, and basic hygiene and sanitary products, working with local authorities in Ukraine who know where the need is greatest.
